KCACP Chaplaincy Program

The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police Chaplaincy Program is a professional chaplaincy initiative comprised of local faith community leaders who have come together to undergo training and to serve the local law enforcement agencies and departments in Kendall County.

Chaplains are community ambassadors who regularly express sincere appreciation and gratitude to the men and women serving in law enforcement.

Chaplains support the law enforcement community that serves and protects others with a genuine care for officers and their families.

Chaplains utilize their ministerial training and experience to assist law enforcement professionals in serving the community during times of adversity, tragedy, or loss.

Chaplains serve with collaboration in mind, respecting and valuing the relationships between law enforcement agencies in Kendall County to support and strengthen the efforts already underway.

2025 ICPC Training Dates

The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police will host an International Conference of Police Chaplains Daily Training Seminar this fall. During the training, KCACP chaplains will complete 10 chaplaincy basic training courses taught by certified ICPC instructors.

We welcome qualified ministers, clergy, or faith-based individuals with law enforcement experience within the community to apply. Applications will be reviewed by law enforcement officials and the KCACP Chaplain Committee. Please be aware that there are limited positions available, so not all applicants will be accepted.
