KCACP Chaplaincy Program

The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police Chaplaincy Program is a professional chaplain program made up of local leaders in the faith community that have come together to be trained and to serve the local law enforcement agencies and departments in Kendall County.

Chaplains are ambassadors from the community that regularly communicate sincere appreciation and gratitude to the men and women serving in law enforcement.

Chaplains serve the law enforcement community that serves and protects others with a heart to genuinely care for these officers and their families.

COMPASSION

Chaplains use their ministerial training and experience to help law enforcement professionals serve the community in times of adversity, tragedy or loss.

COLLABORATION

Chaplains serve with collaboration in mind, respecting and valuing the relationships between law enforcement agencies in Kendall County with a goal to support and strengthen those efforts already in motion.

2024 ICPC Training Dates

The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police will be hosting an International Conference of Police Chaplains Daily Training Seminar this December. At the training, KCACP Chaplains will take 10 chaplaincy training courses taught by certified ICPC instructors.

How to Apply

Please click on the link below to apply for the KCACP Chaplaincy Program. Qualified ministers, clergy or people of faith with law enforcement experience in the community interested in joining the KCACP Chaplaincy Program are encouraged to apply. Your application will be reviewed by law enforcement and the KCACP Chaplain Committee. Please note, there are a limited number of positions and not everyone that applies will be accepted into the program.
